heed1, s. Aird f, aire f. To give, pay, heed to sth., to s.o., aird a thabhairt ar rud, ar dhuine. Take heed! tabhair do d'aire! bí ar d'fhaichill!, fainic! Take no heed of it, ná tabhair aird air; ná buair do cheann leis. He pays no heed to me, ní thugann sé toradh ar bith orm. Take heed to do it, tabhair do d'aire go ndéanfaidh tú é.
