Déan ~ leis, be quick about it. ~ a chur ar dhuine, le rud, to make s.o. hurry, to expedite sth. Rud a dhéanamh faoi dheifir, to do sth. hurriedly. Bheith faoi dheifir (le rud), to be hurried, rushed (with sth.). Tá ~ leis, it is urgent. Bhí ~ m’anama, mo dhá bhonn, orm, I was hurrying for dear life, as fast as my feet could carry me.
